October Featured Speaker: Shalene Simmons, Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility – Raytheon Missile and Defense

Shalane Simmons is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager at Raytheon Missiles & Defense in Tucson, AZ.
In her current role as CSR manager, she has a variety of responsibilities ranging from organizing and executing community events, collaborating with business and community partners, managing the company’s donations and grants budget, and supporting the needs for CSR social media, public relations and advertising content. Over the years Shalane has also assisted with internal communications and managed collaboration tools for employees.
Prior to working at Raytheon, Shalane spent four years at the University of Arizona Athletics as a Marketing Associate.
She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Arizona and is a native Tucsonan.
Shalane has two daughters and is passionate about supporting students of all ages through education.
